Various Events will Enliven Indonesia's 74th Independence Day
"We begin by being grateful to be given the opportunity to be witnesses for the inauguration of the Paskibraka in Jakarta. I congratulate all of you who have been chosen to hoist the red and white flag," expressed Anies as quoted by Jakarta PPID press release.
He said that they must properly hold the mandate to fly the red and white flag. "It is not only during the ceremony for two more days but in all sectors where you work," he stated.
In his speech, he invited them to reflect on the struggle to raise the red and white flag that required a great struggle from the pioneers of independence.
"This is not just the flag hoisting, but you must realize that the flag was raised first, which requires the grants of life, blood, energy and thoughts of the pioneers of independence thus the mandate is done like we appreciate the founders of this republic, " he stated.
